tonight's movie night for the freshman class at my school (: our theme is the fantastic freshman (fantastic 4) so i think we're watching the fantastic 4 movie. everything's going to be $1 apart from the admission fee of $5. it's kinda like a fundraiser thing for our class of 2016 i guess lol :P

Happy Swift Day!

wow today's swift day (: and niall horan's birthday!! :D and today was the first day since school started that i finally got to take a nap in the afternoon (: today was also back to school night for the parents. lol my mom said she got really confused walking around everywhere hahaha.

this is my thinking: niall's looking for his princess right? taylor's looking for her prince charming right? wouldnt it be awesome if they got together? if that's not good enough of a reason for you, then look at this. niall's birthday is on september 13th and taylor's is on december 13th. both of their birthdays are on the thirteenth!  it'd be so cute if they dated... their sons would know how to treat a girl right and their daughters would know which boys to look out for and yeah. they'd be super cute with their dirty blonde hair and so adorkable with piercing blue eyes. oh and dont forget personalities! a tad bit of taylor and a hint of niall all mixed together. good grief my feelings right now asdfghjkl; just think about it. you agree now? yes yes yes? Today

today me, myself, and i had a discussion about dinosaurs and came to the conclusion that t-rexs were only angry and aggressive because their arms were too short to hug one another. pretty sad, huh?

So Sleepy

gah im so sleepy. i wanna take a nap in the afternoon, but there's never any time to. i have to much homework, and it's only the first or so week of school! in fact, i actually already have 2 quizzes tomorrow. like, what the hell? it's just not fair. garrrrrrrrrrrahhhhhh

Nine... Eleven

today was the day airplanes crashed into the twin towers due to an act of terrorism... at least i think that's what it was due to. anywhoo, today's a sad date... but yet also a happy one. for today was also my friend's birthday! i know, it's kind of sad day to have a birthday on right? but get this: her older brother by like what, 2 years(?) has the SAME birthday as her! creepy right? but kinda cool too! :D LOL wow i'm weird :P

Finished :D

finished my homework pretty early today except this one question in my geometry homework. i had to wait for my dad to come home from work so that he could help me... wow that question was hard. it took forever for me and my dad to figure it out! i might actually be able to sleep early today, if i dont stay up all night reading shenny fanfics for big bang theory again LOL. i mean, i finished all my homework, i already showered, i exercised today, etc. all i have left to do is to prepare for school tomorrow and to do my back exercises. sighhhhh. oh how i hate scoliosis. i wonder what it feels like to have a normal back...

Holy Crap!

wow school just started and i already have no time to go on the computer and update this blog. god that sucks :( my first day of new chinese school was today. it sucked.

you would not believe how down i was feeling today at chinese school because it's level 4 so of course it was harder cuz technically i sort of skipped a level. switching schools was hard because at my former school, i knew all the people in my class - we've been in the same class but with different teachers every year since kindergarten. but not that we're high schoolers, the chinese class actually counts as high school credit and so there's so many different levels. it's like level 2, 3, 4, and then AP. most of my former classmates were put into level 3 at my former school and i think i would have been too. but i switched to the school (the one i'm going to now) because i would be able to go directly to level 4 and then AP next year, meaning i would only have to do language for 2 years instead of 3. i could finish faster, which is better for me (:

but as the class started and stuff, i realized i was really alone because everybody already knew each other from the year before, and most of them could all speak and read and most likely write chinese better than i could. i felt kinda stupid and like i didn't belong in level 4. my mom was still there talking to the principal or something by the time it was break time and she saw me looking kinda sad and she was like "what's wrong?" and i started sniffling and crying a bit cuz i just felt so bad. she said that maybe i should look at the level 3 class then and see. so i like, peeked into the level 3 classroom and it was already so full of people, most of them all 8th graders. the teacher didn't look as i dunno... cool? lol. i liked my level 4 teacher better, so i just told my mom that i would stay in level 4. i'll just have to work harder to succeed.

i just kind of wish i had more friends in that class. there are people that i know, but we're not really close friends. plus, during break they all kinda group together and sort of ignore me. it's slightly sad, but i don't mind that much... it's just a bit lonely you know? being alone is one of my worst fears...

So, Um...

well the teachers are okay... my english teacher scares me though. he's really tall so he's kind of intimidating. i love my geography teacher; he's so freaking funny!!! my biggest fear was getting lost on campus, but it didnt happen so i guess everything's gonna be okay lol. i have an english test on friday already though. it's to see what level we are on. i hope it doesnt count as part of our grade. it better not >.< geometry teacher seems fairly nice. spanish teacher seems okay... she's kind of er... chubby? ok, she's fat, but whatever i dont care that much hahaha it's not really my business. my PE teacher seems okay so far. i didnt really get to know him much today. my biology teacher is pretty straightforward.

i'm guessing the subjects i'll have most trouble on this year is spanish (because i'm completely new to the language), english (because i heard the teacher i have is really difficult), or biology (same reason as before and also because i just really suck at science). lol so yeah... oh and good news! my PE teacher said that we won't have the swimming unit until the springtime. so i guess that's good. more time to prepare? idk.

Labor Day

hello labor day. it's monday. the very first monday in september to be exact. fun fact! this holiday is a creation of the labor movement, and it's dedicated to the social/economic achievements of american workers. it's supposed to be like an annual national tribute to the contributions and stuff workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. yeaaaa USA! USA! USA! :D

School

school is starting in just a matter of 4 days. i'm going to miss summer. today's the first day of september. it's finally sinking, yah know, the fact that summer's pretty much over? now that august has ended, i just kind of get the automatic feeling that "omg school's starting."

i'm so nervous. i'm now a freshman in high school now. this is kind of a big deal to me. a whole different school to get used to, a whole bunch of new teachers, a whole lot more homework and tests and projects, a whole gazillion more people to meet and make friends with... you catch my drift? everything's so different all of a sudden. everything's changing. and i don't know if i can keep up with it all. of course, everybody goes through this. but i can't shake the feeling that something's going to happen. i guess i'll just have to wait and see. it's the only sensible thing to do.

Orientation

so i got my schedule and stuff today. damn all of my classes are so far apart from each other + i dont have classes with my bff :( i dont like how for PE we have to do swimming. i mean, us girls are insecure enough! plus, then lots of people will see my crooked back :( so me being fat & crooked back... can i get anymore insecure?!? goshes .-.

i hope high school will be good to me. i dont think i can handle any more bullshit.

Movies :D

yea that's right, i went to the movies today with my friend (: we watched Premium Rush. it was pretty good. we got some popcorn, some willy wonka mini chewy tangy sweetarts, an icee, and yeah. then i brought the candy and popcorn home cuz my brother wanted it lol. gahhhh school's starting soon... practically just a week left or so D:

damn it... school's starting soon. high school is going to be so much more complicated than jr. high school. everything is so much bigger and more complicated. im going to have to work harder if i want to keep up with everybody. goodbye sleep, right? :P sigh.

i was reading in a magazine today and they were doing this article where they were comparing songs that had the same song title but different artists. one of the songs things they did was justin bieber's as long as you love me and backstreet boys' as long as you love me. after much "discussion" they decided that backstreet boys had the better song. i was like awh hell yeah whatchu gonna do now??

Last Day

so today was the last day that i could see my cousin before he flew back home. gosh, i miss him already :( sometimes i wish he was one of my brothers. he'd be a really cool brother. i wish for a lot of things, but they hardly ever come true. you'd have to be a princess or something to get everything you wanted. "a man who treats his woman like a princess is proof that he was born and raised in the arms of a queen." it just goes to show that a man will treat his lady right if he has had someone to show him and teach his how to treat them right. it's a shame none of the guys i know could be like that. ah well. life ain't perfect. i certainly ain't leading a princess perfect life.

I'm Pretty Glum, Chum

my mom decided to (without asking my permission) hang up all of my freshly washed clothes up instead of putting them in the dryer. she claimed it was because i didnt have enough clothes to put in the dryer and she felt that it would be wasting energy. godammit. i hate it when people mess with my stuff because then i cant do it the way i want to do it! and besides, who the hell hangs up every single underwear and sock one by one? it's just stupid and a waste of time!! so now i had to rewash my clothes plus some blankets and pillow covers that i threw in (so that it'd have enough clothes and stuff to dry rolls eyes). GOD. if my mom hadnt decided to without asking me hang up all my clothes, i wouldnt have to go through all of this!

this is just like the time my oldest brother wanted to dry his clothes, but my 2nd oldest brother had his clothes in the dryer. so my oldest brother took them out of the dryer and put them back in the washer just so he could dry his own clothes. jeez. now i know how my 2nd oldest brother felt like.

Boredness

bored: to weary by dullness, tedious repetition, unwelcome attentions, etc. that is what i am. i am practically bored to death. i feel as if i have no social life o.o i am feeling a bit as what one might call a "social loner" lol. wow i suck.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together <-- that's Taylor's new single! she premiered it live on the webchat on August 13th. i watched it (: i was fangirling so hard hahaha... the title of this post, Red, is the name of Taylor's new album. it's set to come out on October 22nd. there's supposed to be 16 songs on it, not including bonus tracks. so that means there's probably going to be MORE than 16!!! i am so happy right now.

anywhoo after i got my braces off in the morning, i went back in the afternoon to get my temporary retainers. i hate them, they're so annoying. i can't really close my teeth together completely and they have so much saliva and spit. lol whatever. it's better than braces.

got my braces off today! now all i need to do is use the teeth whitener that my mom has and get rid of my acne. then i'll have perfect teeth and perfect skin! :D oh well for my teeth i still have to wear retainers, but whatever. those are removable and less noticeable compared to braces :P

plus, jason chen's company got fed up with the USPS people and decided to just resend the package to us free of charge. oh well, except we had to repay the shipping fee ($5) but whatever. i'm so glad my friend is going to get her birthday present after all, even if it's 3 months late. i mean, she helped to pay $50 for my iTouch, so it's only fair that i get her something worthy of that! so i got her the jason chen tshirt that's she wanted for so long now. her mom wouldnt get it for her cuz it was too expensive for just a tshirt. but not only that, i also got her a wristband (: altogether, it probably cost about $35. im just glad im sort of paying my friend back for all she's done for me.

everybody's going on about justin bieber's song "As Long As You Love Me" and im just like LOL y'all are listening to his version? awh hell no. imma listen to backstreet boys "As Long As You Love Me" and all these beliebers are going on about how backstreet boys copied justin bieber and im just like wtf backstreet boys made that song back in like what, 1990something? them chicks are crazy. oh and justin bieber's music video for his song "Boyfriend" is very very very similar to nsync's music video for their song "Girlfriend". in my opinion backstreet boys and nsync will always be better than justin bieber. just saying. that's my opinion. you don't have to agree with it :P

Finally

I'm back. My room looks so different now; I love it! Of course, it doesn't look anything like I originally imagined it to look like, but then again everything that I imagine tends to be a little bit blown out of proportion. My room right now is a nice, sensible average teenage girl's room.

Anywhoo, on another matter, my mom can be really weird. Like, really weird. And annoying too sometimes. But then again, practically every teenager feels like this. Deep down inside we all love our parents, even though we're unwilling to admit it.

Oh and David's new album came out! It's absolutely AWESOME. I love it so much! There are ten tracks on the album (which is called BEGIN.) and 9 of them are covers, one original. The original is called "Broken" and I'm actually listening to it right now (:

I Ice Skated

so yea. i ice skated. i was kinda bad at first (obviously since i haven't skated since i was in like, 3rd grade) and i fell twice. but otherwise i was pretty good (: ice skating is actually pretty fun apart from the fact that it really hurts your feet. you have to tie the skates on really tightly to skate well, and so my blood circulation in my feet was like, GONE. it was horrible LOL.

my friend who was with me was a whole different case. she was really bad, surprisingly enough. she's a dancer, you see. anyways she fell like, 5 or 6 times. one time she fell and she tried to get up but she just fell again. it was pretty funny. but of course, being the good friend i am, i helped her up every single time and asked her if she was okay (:
